Earning From YouTube Videos.

You might have heard about someone, his friend, her friend, his friends friend and so on who earns money online through advertising. Until now, i was among the one who use to hear such stories, now i am the one who is talked about.

My journey in this amazing passive source of income begin with YouTube. I had created an account in 2008. The first video uploaded in 2009. Essentially, my hard disk was just 80GB (which i updated recently to 500GB, thanks to passive income from YouTube!) so i begun uploading videos on YouTube, mere as a backup.

Gradually, i started receiving hits. And one day in 2011, i uploaded a video on Ganapati Darshan at Lalbagh which got instant 150 hits. The next day i received a mail from YouTube asking me to monetize the video which i did. I just kept uploading videos but never bothered to monetize others.

In Oct'2012 when i was jobless, i dug deep into this monetization process just out of curiosity and boredom. I discovered that i can monetize almost all videos, it had an option there! So i monetized all my videos in a hurry. Majority of them got monetized but some were bumped by copyright issues asking for legal documents so that i can make money from those videos. I ignored those videos and cancelled  monetization requests.
The first day, i was shell shocked to see the earnings. It was 8$! That's massive when you know nothing about it! That's how i decided to unleash the full potential about this passive income. I got acquainted with the copyright issues, do's/dont's about it and begin practicing it.
My subscriber base grew and now i am happy with passive income which i earn virtually doing nothing!
I am a science teacher, so these days i have embarked on created educational videos and posting one video each week to keep my subscribers tuned in. I learned basics of video editing and generally use Movie maker for making videos.

How to track google adsense check/cheque.

So now you have crossed the minimum payment threshold of 100$ and your payments have been finalized. You are eager to receive the check but you dont know when that courier boy will knock your door.
I discovered steps to track your google adsense check. A few months ago, adsense switched over courier services to blue dart.

STEP- I : Knowing your Reference/Way bill no.

Follow the steps to find out your reference/waybill no.
1) Login to your adsense account. www.adsense.com
2) Locate "Payments" link on the left ribbon.
3) Once payment page is loaded, scroll down to latest "payment issued" link. Click on details.
4) You will find following pop-up :

Payment Date	Mar 27, 2013
Payment Number	012345678
Tracking Number	BlueDart01234567891
Amount in Reporting Currency	USD $500
Exchange Rate	1 : 54.110
Amount in Payment Currency	INR Rs.27,055

 5) Payment number is your reference number for tracking your courier. Or Tracking number is your waybill no. You can search by either of two numbers.
6) If tracking number is not displayed, your check is not dispatched yet.

STEP-II : Tracking your check on Bluedart.
1) Go to bluedart official website. http://www.bluedart.com/
2) Enter waybill no/reference no in the left tracking window.
3) Hit enter and know your check details!
